Being diagnosed with cancer is a devastating experience. In the midst of this devastation it has been heartening to be in the hands of Dr. Matar and his staff. From day one my encounter with Dr. Matar has been positive. He laid out the game plan of what course treatment would follow. Dr. Matar communicated well with other health providers who were part of the extended treatment team. I have found Dr. Matar’s staff to be friendly, caring, and respectful. When I hesitated to come back for further treatment due to insurance problems, Dr. Matar went out of his way to assure me that my treatment rather than financial issueswere paramount in his mind.
